Fire breaks out at chips factory in Keraniganj

A fire broke out at a chips factory in Keraniganj upazila of Dhaka on Friday evening.

The fire originated at around 6:37pm at the tin-shed factory. Being informed, first unit of the fire service reached the spot at around 7:05pm.

At present a total of seven units are working to douse the fire, said Ershad Hossain, duty officer of fire service headquarters.

Causality of the fire could not be known immediately.
