Bangladesh receives 106 crore US dollar remittance in 15 days

Bangladesh received US dollar of 106 crore 97 lakh and 70 thousand inward remittance in the first 15 days of December, the sixth month of the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

The latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) revealed the information on Sunday (December 17).

According to the data, in these 15 days of December, the country received remittance of 10 crore 80 lakh and 60 thousand US dollar through state-owned banks, 3 crore 77 lakh and 50 thousand US dollar through a specialized bank, 92 crore 16 lakh and 90 thousand US dollar through private banks, and 22 lakh 70 thousand through foreign banks.
