Bangladesh observing state mourning at Kuwait Emir`s demise

Bangladesh is observing a one-day state mourning on Monday (December 18) at the death of its real friend Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (December 16).

The national flag is being kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government, and autonomous institutions, all government and non-government buildings including educational institutions and Bangladesh missions abroad in observance of the state mourning.

Special prayers are being offered at all mosques and other religious institutions seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.

Earlier on Saturday, Kuwait's Emir passed away at the age of 86.
