Symbol allocation today, candidates to start election campaign

The Election Commission (EC) will allocate symbol today (December 18) among candidates contesting in the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections, scheduled to be held on January 7.

The symbol allocation for the elections will start at the offices of the returning officers across the country.

The candidates would be able to start the election campaign after the allocation of symbols, meaning they will go for election campaign today as per the election schedule.

The campaign will continue till 8 am on January 5.
