Ballots to reach centres on morning of polls day: EC

The Election Commission (EC) decided to send ballot papers to voting centres on the morning of the election day.

The Election Commission issued a notification in this regard on Monday (December 18).

Besides, in the remote areas, ballot papers will arrive the night before the election.

The symbol allocation for the 12th parliamentary elections began at the offices of the returning officers across the country today.

The election is scheduled to be held on January 7.
