AK Azad gets ‘eagle’ electoral symbol

Independent candidate for Faridpur-3 constituency (Sadar) businessman AK Azad has been allotted eagle as his electoral symbol.

Faridpur Deputy Commissioner (DC) and also returning officer allocated the symbol on Monday.

In the same constituency, Bangladesh Congress candidate M. A. Muid Hossain got 'Coconut', Jatiya Party candidate S. M. Yahiya got 'Plough', Bangladesh Supreme Party candidate Md. Deloar Hossain got 'Ektara', and BNM candidate Golam Rabbani got 'Anchor' symbol.

The Election Commission started allocating electoral symbols to candidates on Monday. After getting symbols on Monday, candidates can continue their campaign till 8am on Jauary 5.
