Passenger bus set ablaze in Gulistan

Miscreants have set fire to a passenger bus in the capital’s Gulistan amid the countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal called by BNP on Tuesday (December 19) noon.

However, no casualties have been reported in this connection.

Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, confirmed this to risingbd.

She said miscreants have set a passenger bus of ‘Malancha Paribahan’ on fire in front of Gulistan GPO in the capital around 1:04 pm.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
