PM arrives in Sylhet

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached Sylhet to take part in a public rally and formally launch her party’s election campaign.

She arrived in Sylhet at around 11:30 am on Wednesday (December 20).

Earlier, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the prime minister left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Sylhet.

The Awami League president will kick off the campaign after visiting the shrines of Shahjalal and Shah Paran. The party traditionally begins canvassing from Sylhet.
