Train set on fire in capital

A train, Brahmaputra Express, caught fire in the capital’s Cantonment area on Wednesday night.

Dhaka Railway Police Super Anwar Hossain confirmed the incident.

He said the fire originated from a sack placed on the silencer pipe of the train engine, obstructing the smoke emission. No one was injured in the incident.
