Proposal sent to transfer 79 police inspectors

The home ministry has sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC), seeking permission to transfer 79 police inspectors before the 12th national election on January 7.

Sources in the home ministry confirmed this on Saturday.

The letter has been sent to transfer 30 inspectors (armed), 46 inspectors (unarmed) and three inspectors of the city and transport wings of the police department.
