EC wants to show fair election to foreigners: Ahsan Habib

Election Commissioner (EC) Brigadier General (Retd.) Ahsan Habib Khan has said EC wants to show a fair environment and a fair election to foreign countries.

The Election Commissioner made the remark while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with candidates, election officers and the law enforcement agencies at the office of Patuakhali Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday (December 27).

The Election Commission has a zero tolerance policy regarding honesty, transparency and fair voting, he said.

Actions will be taken against presiding officers and other concerned officers if one single fake vote is cast at any polling center, he added.
