266 died of AIDS in 2023

The number of AIDS patients is increasing in the country.

A total of 276 AIDS patients were detected and 266 died of AIDS in the country this year.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the information at a discussion organized at the auditorium of National Censer Research Institute and Hospital on Wednesday (December 27).

The number of cases and deaths has crossed all previous records for the last ten years, the programme was told.
