Tarique must be tried after brining back to country: PM

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said BNP leader Tarique Rahman must be tried after bringing him back to the country from London as he has directed to burn people to death.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing an election rally at Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Govt College ground in Tungipara of Gopalganj on Saturday.

The Prime Minister said, “Tarique Rahman is doing exactly the same thing as people are being killed in Palestine”.

“If Allah gives the day, the Awami League wins the next election,  Tarique will be brought back to the country  and brought under the law”, she said.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the Tungipara rally around 11:00am on Saturday as part of her party’s election campaign.
