Elections in Bangladesh not stable yet: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal opined that elections in Bangladesh are not stable yet.

The CEC made the opinion while addressing an inaugural ceremony of a training program at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital around 10:00am on Monday (January 1).

He said that if anti-voting activities like blocking voting takes place violently then there would be a crisis. This crisis must be prevented. The security of the voting center must be maintained at any cost.

Kazi Habibul Awal also said that violation is taking place since the beginning of the campaign. However, EC doesn't want to see any casualties.
