Winter clothes distributed on National Day of UAE

On the occasion of the 52nd National Day of the United Arab Emirates, winter clothes were distributed recently at free of cost among the poor in different places of  Bangladesh.

The winter clothes were distributed under the supervision of the embassy of United Arab Emirates in Dhaka and management of Bangladesh office of Sharjah Charity International (SCI).

High quality blankets were distributed among 1750 families and jackets among 1000 families in Panchgarh, Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Dinajpur and Rangpur districts, said a press release.

The cold-hit people expressed their thanks and gratitude to the donors, SCI and the Bangladesh embassy and prayed for the growth, development and success of the UAE.
