New gas price to be announced today

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) will announce the new tariff of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) at the consumer level today (January 2).

A press conference will be held in this regard at 3:30 pm at the hearing room of BERC office in the capital’s Karwan Bazar.

BERC issued a press notification in this regard on Monday.

Earlier, in December last, the price of each 12-kg LPG cylinder at the consumer level was hiked by Tk 23 to Tk 1,404.
