Sheikh Hasina to address nation this evening

Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina will address the nation at 7pm on Thursday (January 4) ahead of 12th national parliamentary election slated for January 7.

In her address, she will announce her party’s election manifesto before the nation.

The address will be aired simultaneously by Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, private TV channels and radio stations.

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader confirmed the matter at a press conference held at the party president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Wednesday (January 3).
