Bangladesh Railway Western Region has postponed the movement of 11 trains on different routes following the fire incident at Benapole Express train in the capital’s Gopibagh area on Friday (January 5) night, claiming lives of four train passengers.
The train movement on the western region will remain suspended for two days—Saturday (January 6) and Sunday (January 7).
The news was posted to the Facebook page of Bangladesh Railway Western Region General Manager at 12:45am on Saturday.
Due to an unavoidable reason, Benapole Express and Dhallachar Express trains will remain stopped from January 6-7, the post said.
