PM to exchange greetings with election observers, journalists this evening

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also president of the ruling Awami League will convene a meeting with foreign election observers and local journalists on Monday (January 8).

A notification from the prime minister’s office confirmed the matter on Sunday evening.

According to the notification, Sheikh Hasina will attend a courtesy meeting and exchange of views with all at Ganabhaban at 3:30 pm today (January 8).

The ruling Awami League candidate running with the symbol of boat secured at least 223 seats while the independents bagged 62.
