‘Formation of new Cabinet likely by Jan 15’

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that the new Cabinet is likely to be formed by January 15.

“Fair and peaceful election was held as Election Commission took a rigid stance this time,” he told reporters at the Secretariat on Monday (January 8).

According to unofficial results, Nasrul Hamid was elected for the third consecutive term, securing a win in Dhaka-3 (Keraniganj) constituency by a huge margin in the 12th national parliamentary election held on January 7.
