42 injured in polls violence in three districts

At least 42 people have been injured in post-polls violence in three districts.

Among them, 31 were injured in Rajshahi and 10 in Sarishabari of Jamalpur.

Hands and legs of Gaibandha Upazila Parishad chairman were broken by his rivals.

At least 20 people were injured in a clash between supporters of an independent candidate and policemen in Tanore of Rajshahi. 

At least 10 people were injured in a clash between the supporters of newly-elected MP for Rajshahi-3Asaduzzaman Asad and present MP Ayed Uddin.  

A supporter of independent candidate was injured in Bagha upazila.

At least 10 people were injured in several clashes between the supporters of boat and truck symbols in Sarishabari of Jamalpur district.
