PM pays tribute to Aug 15 martyrs at Banani graveyard

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday paid rich tributes to the martyred family members of Bangabandhu at the Banani Graveyard in Dhaka.

The premier went there in the morning and paid glowing homage by placing wreaths around 7:30am.

Later, Sheikh Hasina visited Bangabandhu Bhavan at Dhanmondi-32 and paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation.

At the Banani graveyard, PM Sheikh Hasina’s mother Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nesa Mujib, brothers Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Jamal, and Sheikh Russel and other martyrs of August 15, 1975 were laid to eternal rest.
