AK Azad gets proposal to form opposition with independents

Businessman AK Azad, newly-elected MP from Faridpur-3 constituency, has got a proposal to form an alliance with independent candidates in the 12th parliament.
He disclosed the information in response to a question from journalists at his residence at Jhiltuli of Faridpur town on Tuesday (January 9) afternoon.
AK Azad said, “We participated in the election in a call of the leader (Sheikh Hasina), we are not outside the Awami League. If the leader thinks we should form an opposition party, so we will form. As Jatiya Party has got only 11 seats, independents have got 62 seats”.
