Parjatak Express leaves Dhaka for Cox’s Bazar

The new Parjatak Express train started its journey on the Dhaka-Cox's Bazar-Dhaka route on Wednesday (January 10).
Carrying 785 passengers, the train left Dhaka railway station at 6:15 am.
Shahidul Islam, Eastern Railway zone chief operating superintendent said that considering the demand of the passengers, a new pair of non-stop intercity trains, tourist express, will provide service from today.
The non-stop train will stop directly at Chattogram after halting at the Airport station. Then the train will stop directly at the Cox's Bazar station. This train will not stop at any station in between.
Dhaka to Cox's Bazar non-AC class 'Shovan Chair' seat fare is Tk695 and AC class 'Snigdha' seat fare is Tk1,325 with VAT.
