New cabinet to take oath this evening

The members of new cabinet will be sworn in at Durbar Hall of the Bangabhaban at 7 pm on Thursday (January 11).

President Mohammed Shahabuddin will administer the oath to the new cabinet members.

Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain revealed the information in a press conference on Wednesday (January 10).

The members of the new Cabinet will comprise of 25 ministers and 11 state ministers and deputy ministers.

After the sworn-in ceremony, the Prime Minister will distribute the portfolios among the ministers, state ministers, and deputy ministers.
