Hasan Mahmud made foreign minister

Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud has been appointed as the foreign minister in the new cabinet.

The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

Dr Hasan was the Information and Broadcasting Minister of the last AL government.

He served as the Environment & Forest Minister of the government from August 2009 to January 2014, while he was the State Minister for Foreign Affairs during 2009 to August 2009.
