Hasan vows to develop ties with all

Newly-appointed Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud has vowed to develop ties with all East and Western countries.

The newly-appointed foreign minister said this while talking to journalists after paying homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 in the city.

“We will take the country forward by facing all the challenges under the leadership of leader Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister entrusted me with the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Inshallah, by facing this challenge, we will move the country forward and brighten the image of the country, further develop relations with all East and West”, he said.

He said, “I’ve discharged my responsibility given by Prime Minister with utmost sincerity and honesty. She gave me the responsibility of the information ministry last time and I’ve discharged my responsibility with sincerity.”
