No problem to continue work as BCB president: Papon

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Najmul Hassan Papon has become the Minister for Youth and Sports.

In a reaction, after taking the oath as Youth and Sports Minister, Najmul Hassan Papon said there is no problem to continue work as BCB president.

“There is no legal problem. I'm in both places, one may naturally think I have love cricket more. I say, even if I am not in BCB, ministry, cricket will always remain with me”, he said.

Papon said, “There is no opportunity for anyone outside the board to become BCB president. I am still unable to step down as I am in some ICC committees. The ongoing board of ICC will consider the matter after its completion”.
