Alesha Mart chairman arrested

Chairman of e-commerce company Alesha Mart Manjur Alam Sikdar was arrested on charges of fraud and money laundering.

He was arrested from Banani area of Dhaka on Saturday night.

Kazi Shahan Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banani Police Station, confirmed his arrest.

Arrest warrant was issued over a hundred cases of fraud filed by customers against Manjur that led to his arrest, the OC said.
