Complaints to be lodged on 333 if prices of goods charged high

The consumers will be able to lodge complaints by calling on 333 if the traders charge higher prices of daily commodities.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak disclosed this on Monday that the service would be able before January 31.
The state minister announced the decision during a meeting with the leaders of different trade bodies at his cabinet office.The service will begin by 31 January as part of the government's efforts to keep the prices of daily commodities under control, he said.
The department responsible for dealing with such matters will take appropriate action based on the phone calls, said the junior minister.
Additionally, the ministry plans to launch a website that will provide information on the availability of goods and prices, Palak said.
