Bangladesh reiterates its adherence to `One China` policy

Bangladesh has closely followed the recent election in Taiwan while reiterated its support to 'One China' policy.

"Bangladesh has closely followed the recent election in Taiwan. Bangladesh reiterates its firm adherence to 'One China' policy," foreign ministry said in a post on its official Facebook this evening.

It also said Dhaka urged the parties concerned to refrain from any unwarranted provocation and work towards lasting peace and stability in the region in the spirit of the UN Charter.
