Gas crisis will be will over in a day or two days: Nasrul

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that the current gas supply crisis will be resolved within few days.

The state minister said this while talking to journalists at the Secretariat on Tuesday (January 16).

“People are facing gas shortage as a floating storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU) is going under regular servicing, but it will be over in a day or two days”, he said.

He also said uninterrupted gas supply will be ensured in the country by 2026.

“Petrobangla is working on gas management planning. Hopefully, we will get good news on Bibiana gas field soon,” Nasrul said.
