Journalist Rezwan Siddiqui dies

Dr Rezwan Hossain Siddiqui, acting editor of Daily Dinkal and a senior member of the Dhaka Union of Journalists, has passed away.

He breathed his last at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in the capital’s Shyamoli around 10:30 pm on Tuesday (January 16).

Rashedul Haque, news editor of the Daily Dinkal confirmed the matter.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at the Press Club premises at 12pm on Wednesday.

He was suffering from kidney disease complexity.

Rezwan was born at Elasin village in Tangail in 1953. He started his journalism career at Dainik Bangla in 1972. He served as a Director General of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB).
