A truck recovered from capsized ferry

A truck has been recovered from the capsized ferry Rajanigandha at Paturia ghat in Manikganj.
Rescue vessel Hamza has pulled up the first truck.

Police Super of Faridpur Naval Police Syed Mushfiq confirmed the news.

Rajanigandha with nine trucks capsized in the river Padma around 8:30am on Wednesday at the number 5 Paturia ghat in Manikganj.

About 20 persons have been rescued, but assistant master of the ferry has remained missing.

A five-member probe body has been formed over the incident.

Rescue vessel Rustam is also on way to join the recovery operation.
