Gold price now Tk 1,12,441 per bhori

Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) has raised the price of gold by Tk 1,400 to Tk 1,12,441 per bhori (11.664 grams).

A press release of BAJUS on Wednesday said the price has been raised due to a hike in the price of the precious metal on the international market.

The new price will be effective from Thursday (January 18).

The trade body hiked the gold price earlier on 23 December last year.
