China keen to work with new govt in various sectors

Welcoming the new government in Bangladesh for the free and fair 12th national parliament elections, China expressed interest to work with the new government in various sectors.

The Chinese envoy expressed the eagerness at a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary M Tofazzel Hossain Miah at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in the city on Thursday noon (January 19).

During the meeting, Tofazzel thanked the Chinese government for its support to the development programmes in Bangladesh and sending observes to monitor the January 7 general polls.

Meanwhile, he requested Wen for increasing the Chinese investment in Bangladesh.
