Gas supply suspended in Chattogram

Gas supply has been temporarily suspended in Chattogram due to a technical fault at the Maheshkhali LNG terminal.

Petrobangla (Bangladesh Oil, Gas & Mineral Corporation) issued a press notification in this regard on Friday (January 19).

Besides, low pressure of gas is prevailing in other parts of the country due to winter.

It said that work is underway with a view to speedy repairs. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Petrobangla, and related companies are conducting round-the-clock supervision.

Petrobangla has also expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience to customers.
