PM declares handicrafts as product of the year of 2024

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has declared the handicrafts as the product of the year of 2024 as it will contribute a lot to women empowerment, employment and their self-reliance.

The premier made the announcement while addressing the opening ceremony of Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2024 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal New Town.

Mentioning the growing employments of women, the Prime Minister said, through this, empowerment of women will be ensured.
