Cold may increase, temperature recorded 8.1°C

Mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Tangail, Madaripur and Kishoreganj and it may continue.

Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius and day temperature may fall slightly over the country, Met office said.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 27.6 degree Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was recorded 08.1 degree Celsius jointly at Badalgachi and Dinajpur.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, according to weather forecast for next 24hours beginning from 9am on Monday.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to Tuesday morning and it may continue till noon at some places. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt due to thick fog.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
