Classes at govt pry schools to start at 10am

Classes at all the government primary schools will start from 10:00am till 31 January due to dense fog and extremely cold conditions across the country.

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued a circular revising the school timing on Monday (January 22).

According to the notification, considering the difficulties due to the ongoing cold wave across the country, all government primary schools will start at 10:00 am, instead of 9:00 am.

Earlier on January 16, the government decided to close primary schools in districts where the maximum temperature will fall below 10 degrees Celsius.
