Chief Whip, 5 Whips of Jatiya Sangsad appointed

President has appointed a Chief Whip and five Whips of the 12th Jatiya Sangsad.

Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury, who has been elected from Madaripur-1 constituency, has become chief whip of the Jatiya Sangsad.

Mashrafe bin Mortaza, Abu Saeed Swapan, Iqbalur Rahim, Nazrul Islam Babu and Saimum Sarwar Kamal have been made whips.

A gazette signed by Senior Secretary of Parliament Secretariat KM Abdus Salam was published on Monday (January 22).
