PM to visit Germany in February

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Germany next month to attend the Munich Security Conference.

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said this to newsmen on Thursday.  Earlier, the foreign minister held separate meetings with French ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy and German ambassador to Bangladesh Achim Troster.

“Honourable Prime Minister has decided to join Munich Security Conference and we are now working on bilateral meetings (to be held on the sidelines in Germany from February 16 to 18),” he said.

Apart from bilateral engagement with the German leaders, the Prime Minister is likely to have meetings with global leaders on the sidelines of the conference.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024 will take place from February 16 to 18 this year, at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany.
