Light rain likely with thick fog

Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur with thick fog at different places of the country.

According to a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin, light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to Friday morning and it may continue till noon at some places”, it added.

The existing mild cold wave that is sweeping over Rangpur division and the districts of Naogaon may spread, the bulletin said.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 25.7 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while Thursday’s minimum temperature 8.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Dinajpur.
