Non-resident envoys of 14 countries meet Speaker

Non-resident ambassadors and high commissioners of 14 countries to Bangladesh have met the Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office in the parliament on Tuesday (January 30).
Meanwhile, the envoys discussed the unprecedented progress of Bangladesh, the recent neutral 12th National Parliament elections, development of multilateral relations, climate change and other issues.
The Speaker said that unprecedented development has been achieved in Bangladesh in the past fifteen years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The non-resident envoys are Gilbert Shimane Magole of Botswana, Koy Kuong of Cambodia, Dr Eliska Zigova of Czech Republic, Mustapha Jawara of Gambia, Istvan Szabo of Hungary, Jason K Hall of Jamaica, Peggy Frantzen of Luxemburg, Ganbold Dambajav of Mongolia, Slobodan Uzunov of North Macedonia, Javier Manuel Paulinich Velarde of Peru, Robert Maxian of Slovak Republic, Mateja Vodeb Ghosh of Slovenia, Alberto A. Guani of Uruguay and Capaya Rodriguez Gonzalez of Venezuela.
