People have voted Awami League: Russian Ambassador 

Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Mantytsky has said that the Awami League has won the 12th parliament election through votes of the people.

The ambassador said this while talking to journalists after holding his maiden meeting with Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud at the foreign ministry on Wednesday.

“The BNP’s allegation is misleading or false information... don’t believe it. We don’t interfere in political affairs in any country”, he said.

The Russian Ambassador strongly affirmed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was democratically elected by the citizens.
