Light to moderate rain likely over parts of country

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over south, south-east and north-eastern region and at one or two places over the north and central region including the capital.

According to the met office bulletin on Thursday (February 1), the night and day temperature also may rise slightly over the country.

"Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions," said the weather update.

Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 34 millimeters (mm) at Satkhira.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning.
