One more devotee dies on Ijtema ground; death toll now 4

Another has devotee died due to old age complications at the Biswa Ijtema venue in Tongi, taking the death toll from the Islamic congregation to four.

The deceased was known as Ekhlas Mia, 70, hailed from Burujuri Salpadighia village of Netrokona.

Ijtema organizing committee media convener Habibullah Raihan confirmed the matter.

It is known that the pilgrims became around 3:00am on Friday. Later, he was taken to Shaheen Ahsan Ullah Master general hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
