Hajj registration deadline extended 

The government has extended the deadline for hajj registration till 6 February.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs issued a fresh notification in this regard on Friday. Earlier, the deadline was extended in phases until 1 February.

According to the notification, the registration timeframe for the intending pilgrims under government and private management has been extended till 6 February for the last time under special consideration.

Those who want to perform hajj can do primary registration by depositing Tk2.05 lakh or final registration by paying the full amount of the package within the fresh deadline.
