Bangladesh reports 25 new Covid-19 cases

25 Coronavirus or Covid-19 cases were reported anew across the country in the last 24 hours as of Saturday morning, taking the country’s total number of coronavirus cases to 20,47,258.

However, no Covid-19 deaths were reported during the period. The country’s total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,482.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release on Saturday (February 3), confirming the information.

A total of 340 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 7.35 per cent, the release said.

Besides, the total number of recoveries were 20,14,478 with 13 new recoveries, it said.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
