Bangladesh summons Myanmar ambassador

The foreign ministry has summoned Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh Aung Kyaw Moe over the death of two in Bangladesh by a mortar shell that crossed the border.
The Myanmar ambassador was summoned to the ministry today (February 6).
Fighting between the Myanmar army and the insurgent group Arakan Army has been going on in the country's Rakhine state. Many villagers left their homes to safer places as the sound of constant fighting on the other side of the border continued.
A total of 117 border guards of Myanmar fled to Bandarban in last three days. They were taken to Border Guard Bangladesh’s (BGB) custody.
